How to Install jabref software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

jabref software package provides graphical frontend to manage BibTeX databases, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install jabref

jabref is installed in your system.

Make ensure the jabref package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep jabref *

You will get with jabref package name, version, architecture and description in a table
